Advertising DesignImagine for a moment a world without any form of advertising… Obviously, a real dull world! There would be no communication, information or fun at all between people, organizations and countries.
Interestingly, advertising is “communication” delivering crisp messages to buyers and sellers in selling products, services and ideas. Advertising design is crucial in ensuring advertising does exactly that.
Programs in advertising design like Bachelor of Fine Arts prepare students in mastering advertising processes across print, television and other media. You get to understand research and development alongside creative and strategic objectives for making advertisements successful. Programs are practical complemented by simulations and lectures from industry experts. Students equip themselves with computer skills, software and media that enhances creativity and ideas generation. The courses span digital camera processes, development of concepts, communication and importantly, presentation skills. Programs include Associate’s, Bachelor’s, Master’s, Diplomas and Certifications. Tenures vary accordingly.
Advertising continues to be a sunrise industry even in hard times which is a plus for Advertising Design. Job opportunities include designers, supervisors, advertising managers, art directors, animators, media artists, illustrators and visual artists. Students may choose to setup own shop or freelance too.. The median annual salary for graphic designers was $39,900 in 2006 as per US Bureau of Labor Statistics. Salaries depend on variables like experience, education, location and employer.
Advertising design programs are offered by University of Phoenix which offers good quality education plus flexible learning. Following it is The Art Institute providing specialized programs catering to distinctive needs of students. Campus mode and actual real time learning is focused on by International Academy of Design & Technology through multiple locations across USA. Full Sail University sails into the list with diverse group of programs customized to students’ needs. ITT Technical Institute is second to none with an excellent reputation for practically oriented training.
